Research states that when youth development practitioners are well trained and treated in a professional manner they will not only choose to remain in the field, but will provide engaging programs and develop strong relationships that will positively benefit youth.  As a result, a core group of individuals representing key stakeholders have come together to develop a career pathways system for youth development practitioners to support career growth, establish stability within the industry, and professionalize the field.  The work of the Career Pathways for Youth Development Practitioners (CPYDP) committee has been made possible by the generous support from the Howard and Geraldine Polinger Family Foundation.  For more information about Career Pathways, check out these Fast Facts.
