Youth Development organizations provide some of the safest environments for youth to escape the ever growing exposure to trauma in their communities, homes, and our global society. Youth development practitioners can play a vital role in a young person’s trauma recovery process. Youth development practitioners who are trauma-informed and trauma sensitive can help youth heal from trauma. This workshop provides youth development practitioners with the knowledge, evidence based tools, interactive exercises, and discussions to be able to engage youth who have experienced trauma.

This workshop is limited to two participants per organization up to 20 participants.

Facilitator: Markisha T. Bennett, Psy.D., MSW, Clinical Psychologist, Knowledge of Self Therapeutic Services PLLC

Registration Deadline: Friday, December 16, 2016
