High quality out-of-school time programs have positive impacts on youth development, including learning, social and emotional growth, critical thinking, and physical health and wellness.  A coordinated system of partners with a common purpose, shared measurement, and consistent and open communication is required to achieve success.  The Montgomery County Collaboration Council, Recreation Department and Montgomery County Public Schools along with out-of-school time providers are part of this system.  As we work together, we are collectively committed to the following core values: Youth Centered, Family Supported, Integrated and Accountable.
